Big Wave began in 2005 with two professional chefs, Will Towle and Chris Banovich. Both gents have worked numerous jobs in the Hawaiian Islands and Caribbean, and spend many trips traveling to both Hawaii and Mexico annually. After both chefs were working in Tahoe as Chefs , they decided to branch out and create a fun loving , fresh and healthy burrito and wrap shop in the new village at Northstar, Truckee California. In fact, these guys are the``Tahoe Iron Chef`` reigning champions two years running. They must be doing something right !!
